CCHS Cross Country Ends Season with Personal Bests

The CCHS Cross Country teams competed at the Regional Championship in Durango on Thursday, October 19th. Boys placed 10th and girls placed 6th. Luci Grooters and Timothy Gauna ran their best times of the season at the race.

CCHS Cross Country Teams Compete at Doherty Invitational

The CCHS boys and girls cross country teams competed against  twenty three teams at the Doherty Spartan Invitational on Thursday, October 5th. Inclement Weather Cancels Cross Country Meet at Royal Gorge

The CCHS Cross Country Teams cancelled the home invitational at the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park today, due to inclement weather and increasingly dangerous course conditions. The decision was made early this morning to allow coaches and athletes plenty of time to make other arrangements. Lightning Causes Air Academy to Cancel Its Cross Country Meet

The Canon City Cross Country teams traveled to Colorado Springs to compete in the Air Academy Invitational, but mother nature had other plans. Lightning delayed the 3:30 start, and by 5:00 p.m., Chuck Schwartz, the Air Academy cross coach, officially cancelled the meet. The next scheduled cross country race for the Tigers is Thursday, September 21st at the Coronado Invitational.
