Nathan’s quote after the race:

“My goal this season was to make it to state. I am super pumped that I achieved that goal. Next year I want to be on the podium!”
Raykon James competed in the Paralympic/Unified Race, a race for athletes with special needs. He did awesome!
Coach’s Comments:
Very proud of both kids today. Nathan is continuing to gel as a distance runner and will be faster and stronger the next two years. His primary goal was to qualify for state, which is exactly what he did. So proud of his accomplishment today.
Raykon James competed in the Unified race today and did a phenomenal job representing CCHS! I love to see our sport recognize all kids at different levels. This is why I coach cross country. It was an honor to watch both caliber of kids, Nathan and Raykon. They aimed high and reach their own personal goals.
